My full name is Maryam Ajarrar. I’m a young professional with a diverse background in content writing and a strong passion for business and technology. Originally from Morocco, I have recently settled in Canada to embark on a new chapter in my life.

As an introvert, I possess natural strengths in active listening and strategic thinking, allowing me to excel in roles that require attention to detail and thoughtful decision-making. While I value my ability to work independently, I also recognize the importance of effective communication and collaboration in achieving project success.

Throughout my career journey, I’ve explored diverse roles and excelled as a content manager in the Ed-Tech industry. However, it wasn’t until later in life, while pursuing my master’s degree, that I stumbled upon my true calling in project management. It was a pivotal moment that fueled my drive of becoming a project coordinator (eventually a project manager) and building a fulfilling career in this field. To further solidify my commitment, I successfully completed the Google project management certificate, which served as validation and strengthened my resolve to pursue this path wholeheartedly.

My portfolio showcases three immersive real-world project scenarios I successfully completed during my project management program. These projects allowed me to apply both waterfall and agile methodologies effectively, gaining valuable hands-on experience in managing diverse projects. Examples include desk-friendly plant services tailored for businesses and home offices, as well as the implementation of menu tablets for a restaurant chain. Through these experiences, I have developed a deep understanding of project management principles and their practical application in various contexts.
